Sixteen Tun
The brief: Create a unique new venue for the waterfront. The response: Sixteen Tun. We didn’t want to create any old bar. We wanted a destination that people would come to for what it would uniquely serve, something that people could connect to emotionally. Craft beer was being rediscovered. It was shaping up as a long-term affair not a one-night stand. At its heart was a deeply passionate community for whom the detail of design was a delight. We designed a temple to their love of craftsmanship. The award winning project was a complex coordination between designers, builders, creatives, chefs, managers and employees to ensure that every detail connected to the brand to tell its absorbing story.
